Also, I was thinking of your brilliant contrast between black and white in your lineworks, and I was wondering, how do you get such a clean contrast?

Well the paper is super white to begin with (not a cream paper or anything), so that helps. But I always play with Levels in Photoshop to give everything more contrast.
